A company newsletter, originally built using a basic SharePoint digest format, struggled with low engagement and failed to capture attention. Leadership began exploring costly third-party solutions, which would include intranet and email service overhauls.
To save time, resources, and employee frustration, I stepped in with a creative solution. Leveraging my advanced Microsoft Office expertise, I designed a fully custom Outlook template—no plug-ins, no pricey software—just the power of Outlook itself.
The result? A sleek, visually appealing newsletter that seamlessly delivered weekly content without disrupting workflows. The team applauded the smooth transition, while leadership celebrated the significant cost savings. Most importantly, engagement skyrocketed, transforming the newsletter into an effective tool for keeping employees informed and connected.
